Our opening cutscene is such a hodgepodge of temporary filler art from the very start of the project to really new scenes like this one. What we really want is for there to be short animations in each scene. But we’ve been putting this off because animations are very time-intensive and the opening cutscene has changed quite a number of times.
We believe that after the release of the alpha on July 31st, the game’s identity will be solidified enough that this might finally be possible.
