Jellyfish Enemy Sprite

I just wanted to share with you one of the jellyfish enemy animations I’ve been working on. I’ve loved looking at images and videos of comb jellies and the cool diffraction effect their cilia create. They look like little gems in the water! When Dustin and I went to the aquarium in Osaka I got to see the effect with my own eyes for the first time. Even though time constraints meant I couldn’t put jellyfish in the background art, I still get to animate their lovely cilia in the enemy sprites!
