Castle Soodalkov, Far North and Close to the Wall

It got pretty cold at Castle Soodalkov on January 13th, 2024! We thought we’d start seeing the White Walkers descend from the far north, and only had a few dragonglass arrows in stock. We took this photo at 2 am, but the following morning found that the temperature dropped to -25 degrees F, and that room went down to 48 degrees F.

Luckily we had no burst pipes or power outages, and enough wood for our supplemental stove since the HVAC was operating below efficiency. We spent most of that night hiding out in one tiny, well heated room!
